Restaurant/places to eat in The Post Hostel Jerusalem
Restaurant/places to eat in The Post Hostel Jerusalem
Lounge or bar in The Post Hostel Jerusalem
A very clean hostel with a nice central area for eating or visiting. The patio offers fantastic views. It is quiet and secure, if not a little hard to find off the street. No worries though - other hostelers pointed us to the right door! The location is very good and restaurants are nearby. You can get a meal or groceries late at night and just around the corner. The beds were comfortable in the private room we had, and the towels were fresh. If you need a ride to the airport, make sure the staff secures it and confirms it for you in the daytime and when it is not a holiday. We couldn't take the train due to the holiday closure, and even though we had made a reservation, the confirmation was not secure, and we almost missed our flight due to a no-show. That being said, the kind lady at the front desk worked feverishly toward an alternate ride for us. We couldn't have asked for more dedication and effort. She took responsibility, and we are grateful to her for helping us make our flight. Definitely a good place to stay - better than some "four star" hotels we stayed in!

Jacqueline

Great location. We stayed in the hostel for a chance of interacting with other travelers and were not disappointed. A Christian missionary tried to convert us. A Jew for Jesus was kicked out. A crazy woman wouldn’t allow the place to photocopy her passport and went ballistic berating the sweet young woman at the desk until she could call the police when other guests intervened. Exceeded expectations. Breakfast was good - not excellent.

Roger

we stayed in a private double room with private bathroom and breakfast included. everything was clean, soft linen, small bathroom but nicely arranged. the only "but" was that the room was facing the street and there was work being done and it started before 7am, so ask for a side or back-facing room. breakfast was ok - Israeli style (Shaq shuq, lãbne, cottage cheese, puta bread, etc).

Gisela

The beds are comfortable, with drapes that both allow privacy and being less dependent on the other roommates when they turn on the lights. Got electric sockets and a lamp near every bed, also got a large drawer under the bed that can be locked if you have a padlock. The place is clean and you have a large space in the lobby, while it's in a central location.

Great location in the city center, the beds have curtains that fully enclose the beds, besides one specific bunk bed in the middle, There's a fridge you can use, it's clean, has a drawer where you can leave your stuff (but you should bring a lock with you for that) and a large lounge if you don't to sit in the room all the time
